We at Channel Capital Group Inc. ("CCG") and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Channel Capital Group LLC ("Broker"), recognize and appreciate the importance of respecting the privacy of our customers and are committed to safeguarding against unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal information of our customers. This Privacy Notice sets forth CCG's and Broker's current policies and practices with respect to nonpublic personal information of our customers and former customers. This policy does not apply to individuals who register with Hedgefund.net on behalf of financial institutions or other companies or organizations; it applies only to investors who register in their individual capacity. Please be aware that we may change this policy periodically.

Information We Collect

CCG and Broker uses personal information collected about you to provide you with superior service. We may use this information in order to develop, offer, and deliver products and services; respond to inquiries from you or your representative; or to fulfill legal and regulatory requirements. CCG or Broker may collect nonpublic personal information about you from any of the following sources:
  • From you or your representative on applications or other forms (for example, your name, address, assets and income); 
  • From you or your representative regarding your preferences (for example, based on your activity on our website); 
  • From other sources with your consent or with the consent of your representative (for example, from other institutions such as credit reporting agencies); 
  • From investment activity (for example, your investments in private placements); and 
  • From other interactions with HFN or Broker (for example, discussions with our customer service staff or your entry of information into our interactive tools).
In addition, when you visit CCG's Internet site at www.hedgefund.net ("Website"), we may collect technical and navigational information, such as computer browser type, Internet protocol address, pages visited, and average time spent on our Website. Broker may operate certain sections of the Website. This information may be used, for example, to alert you to software compatibility issues, or it may be analyzed to improve our Website design and functionality. When you use the contact features of the Website, you consent to the review and internal use of your communication by CCG and/or Broker.

Policy on Sharing Information

CCG and Broker consider the protection of your personal information to be a sound business practice and a foundation of customer trust.
