Milt Baehr – Mr. Baehr is a co-founder and Director of Technology of Strategic Financial Solutions, LLC. Mr. Baehr has over 35 years experience in the computer field, as well as over 25 years in the financial industry. Mr. Baehr received his BSEE in Computer Science from Case Institute of Technology in 1968.  After receiving his degree, Mr. Baehr shifted from software to hardware in order to capitalize on the emerging mini-computer industry. As a consultant, he designed integrated hardware/software solutions for a number of national accounts.  Some of his projects included a chemical control system for Dow Chemical, an inertial navigation system for the Navy and a production control system for Goodyear Tire and Rubber. In 1969, Mr. Baehr was recruited as one of the original team members for Data General Corp.  Using his expertise to implement mini-computer-based solutions for both business and scientific applications, Mr. Baehr’s clients contributed significantly to Data General’s early success. In 1972, at the age of 26, he formed Milt Baehr & Associates, a consulting firm specializing in mini-computer technology. Completed projects included the first Computerized Credit Card Printer and the first Electronic Automated Credit Card Authorization System for MasterCard.  After years of success in his personal investing, Mr. Baehr followed his passion to merge computer technologies into the financial world. In 1976 he trained with Reynolds Securities, Inc. and, in 1978, joined E.F. Hutton & Company, Inc. in Malibu California. During his ten-year tenure with Hutton (1978-1987), he served as a Branch Manager and money manager, designing artificial intelligence based futures trading systems, real-time option pricing models, as well as a branch management information system.  The structure of monthly futures statements, used today by many leading brokerage firms, is borrowed from Mr. Baehr’s model. Mr. Baehr founded The Derivative Management Group, Inc. in 1991.  DMG provided investment management services to institutions and high net worth investors.  The company designed and used real time and artificial intelligence based software for the trading of S&P 500 Index Futures.  As the Internet developed, DMG was one of the original companies to host its own web site.  He began initial development of PerTrac in 1995.
