About HedgeFund.net
HedgeFund.net, owned by Channel Capital Group Inc., is a leading source for hedge fund news and performance data on the Web. Investors who meet HedgeFund.net's accreditation standards are eligible for access to the site's database of information on more than 7,100 hedge funds, funds-of-funds and commodity products. HedgeFund.net is used by thousands of accredited investors to keep abreast of industry news, monitor existing hedge fund investments, and review fund information in anticipation of making allocations to the asset class.

HedgeFund.net was founded in 1997, and it remains dedicated to providing accredited investors with free access to news and information about hedge funds. Investors who desire unrestricted access to the site's proprietary database of funds may also opt for premium-level access.

In September 2000, an investor group consisting of Capital Z Investments, L.P. and Links Holdings LLC acquired HedgeFund.net and initiated its transformation to a financial services company. This process was accelerated in Spring 2002 with the appointment of a new senior management team led by Don Cacciapaglia, a 30-year Wall Street veteran who most recently was the COO of PaineWebber's investment banking business. Prior to that, Cacciapaglia held various senior management positions at Merrill Lynch & Co.

As its userbase and hedge fund database have grown, HedgeFund.net has significantly improved its functionality, enabling investors to benefit from an enhanced transparency platform called HedgePlus. As HedgeFund.net's premium fund listing, HedgePlus allows fund managers to provide investors greater quantitative and qualitative transparency. Through HedgePlus, managers can post biographies, comprehensive strategy descriptions and exhibits, newsletters and press clippings, PowerPoint presentations, as well as an initial due diligence questionnaire. Accredited investors may access this information for free on an anonymous basis and contact the fund at their convenience for more information.

HedgeFund.net also provides a premium tool for hedge fund performance analytics. In November 2002, HedgeFund.net and Strategic Financial Solutions launched a joint venture called PerTrac Online - the hedge fund industry's first online tool dedicated to the relative performance analysis of hedge fund data. This simple, powerful subscription-based product is designed for registered, accredited HedgeFund.net investors who require a more sophisticated level of analysis. PerTrac Online allows investors to sort and rank hedge funds using percentile scores, among other features.

If you are an accredited investor, we invite you to register to become a member of our growing community. Should you have any questions prior to registration, please feel free to contact us.
